Deviled Egg Daisies
from Hungry Happenings
- 4 hard boiled eggs
- deviled egg mixture (yolks, mayo, mustard, salt and pepper or whatever you like)
- green onions
*Note: I only used 7 halves because the other didn't peel prettily but use 8 so that your petals are connected.

Simple, cute, and only uses a few ingredients.
I would have used 8 egg halves but they didn't turn out too pretty when I peeled them. Still trying to perfect the hard boiled egg so that it peels perfectly. I've tried so many ways but none of them seem to work consistently. Any suggestions for the perfect hard boiled egg?
One more Easter recipe coming your way today!
Peace, and bacon grease!

Love these adorable ideas! For the perfect hard boiled egg, you should add salt to the water when boiling and always use older eggs. Fresh ones never peel good. I always crack them all over before I begin peeling...after they've soaked in the water for a few minutes. Hope that helps.
Such clever fun ideas for deviled eggs presentations!
As far as peeling tips are concerned...
After completely cooling the cooked eggs,
tap the entire shell so it's all "crackely".
Under cold running tap water, gently find an entry
& find the "filmy lining" of the egg (between the shell & the actual egg).
Who knew, right?
Break the "filmy lining"which will is usually attached to the white & in turn the
shell will be removed.
By dealing with the "filmy lining" one eliminates the ever so annoying problem of the
white parts coming off with the shell.
Gently rinse the peeled egg under cold running tap water to insure all shells are removed.
Hope this helps & adds to your enjoyment of the many uses of hard boiled eggs! Bon ap
petiƄ !
