It's long overdue, but it's finally here.... my very first giveaway! To celebrate a year of blogging and to show my appreciation to all of you readers out there. I thought about what to give you guys and I knew I wanted it to be a cookbook, but which one? After much deliberation, I decided on...
Foodista Best of Food Blogs Cookbook: 100 Great Recipes, Photographs, and Voices
... to honor all of the fellow food bloggers out there! I can only dream that one day one of my recipes would end up in this cookbook. Oh, to dream a little dream.
To enter the giveaway you must:

2. Leave a comment telling me what your favorite cookbook is and why.
3. Blog about this giveaway and post the link to it.

Congrats on one year! I love cookbooks, and to be honest my favorites are the ones I have from various churches and schools. All the recipes are family favorites, so you know they are good!

It is way too hard to pick one favorite cookbook? The one I have made the most out of would be Pioneer Womans, but my favorite would have to be my Grandma's super old Betty Crocker cookbook!!!

My favorite cookbook is called Mama Agata "simple and genuine " Italian family recipes. I took a cooking class in Italy and they have recently come out with this cookbook - it's amazing!

My favorite cookbook? That's tough. I almost said any of Rebecca Rather's Pastry Queen cookbooks, but I would have to go back further to Martha Stewart's original (published in 1982) Entertaining cookbook. I read that one over and over, like a great novel.

Fantastic giveaway! My all-time favorite cookbooks are the Cook's Country ones. So many great recipes!
My favorite cookbook is an older one, first published in 1991 called FOR GOODNESS TASTE. I'm not sure if they even sell it anymore, but that is the first book that really got me motivated to try new things, other than my meatloaf and mashed potatoes type menu.

Favorite Cookbook,ummmm? Pink Princess Cupcakes by Barbara Beery. Maybe because I just got it and it is soooooo cute. However the most functional cookbook I have is "How to Cook Everything" by Mark Bittman, just a good go-to cookbook when I need to cook something I have no idea about! Martha Stewart Cupcakes is another fav or mine!

My favorite cookbook.....hmmm....{there's too many to choose from!} I guess I will say "The New Best Recipe" from the editors of Cook's Illustrated (America's Test Kitchen). Pretty much fail-proof recipes, since they've tested each one like a million times! :)

One of my favorite cookbooks is Barefoot Contessa's Family Style. It's where I learned to make meatballs, chicken pot pie, and my kids' favorite mac-n-cheese. I love her roasted winter vegetables that you can use the leftovers to make soup!

Thanks for dropping me a line, Desi! I don't know if this counts as a cookbook, but I'm a huge fan of Dale Degroff's CRAFT OF THE COCKTAIL. The recipes are great and all, but I really learned about garnishes, appropriate glasses, and why James Bond should really have his martini stirred, not shaken.
