Menu Planning - Week of 5/9/11

Happy Monday! Did everyone have a great Mother's Day weekend? If you are a mother, I hope you were shown how much you're appreciated... and if not (like me) then I hope that you were the one showing your appreciation to your mamas! I sure did. We enjoyed a nice dinner on Saturday with my brother at Outback, and I took her to see "Jumping the Broom" on Sunday. Plus I doted her with plenty of love, and perfume and clothes of course! I hope she enjoyed her Mother's Day weekend. I really wanted to show her how much I love her. Mothers are the best, aren't they? No one will ever love you like your mama.

This week is also our 11th anniversary together. Yes, I am only 26, and yes I have been with him since I was 15. On Thursday, May 12, we will for sure go out to eat at a fabulous restaurant to celebrate our love!

Such a great week full of love! I get to show the two most important people in my life how much I love them this week! Of course I try to show them every day of the year, but especially on these two days. I'd say I've got some great people to be grateful for!

Are you guys sick of me talking about how much I love my mama and my fiancee yet? Sorry! I know you are here for the food! So on to the menu plan....

Monday 5/9/11:  Avocado and Gorgonzola Salad with Parmesan Vinaigrette

Tuesday 5/10/11:  Buffalo Chicken Mac and Cheese

Wednesday 5/11/11:  Cheeseburger Pie

Thursday 5/12/11:  anniversary... out to eat someplace fancy :)

Friday 5/13/11:  Friday the 13th... EEK!!!  Seafood Sausage and Spinach Pasta

And I haven't forgotten, I still need to post some Mexican recipes. I meant to over the weekend, but it was a busy one! Clearly, it is well past Cinco de Mayo but I still wanna post some Mexican recipes to help you plan for next year! Stay tuned for those recipes, promise!
